SHIPPING POLICIES:

You choose your method of shipping based on the choices provided. If you prefer a method not offered, email us to see if we can accomodate you and make the proper arrangemernts.  As for specific shipping policies, in this respect we are a pass through link for the policies of the shipping company you choose. That is, if you choose UPS to ship your order, we adhere to UPS's policies and procedures. Though we are aware of your shipment's progress and status on our end, the customer should consult the relevant shipper's website for specific information and tracking, using the confirmation number we send to you in your order confirmation email. Insurance through the shipping companies' sites are also available.

Glass items are delicate and, in our case, often very heavy, especially in the case of multiple orders. Consequently, we try to package all items properly for shipment, and must often add a small charge for packaging most orders. We are responsible for any damage to our products from the time your order is confirmed caused in the preparation for shipment and packing process (a rarity). Our liability for damage ends at the time your chosen shipping company takes possession of the package.

If unexpected and spontaneous cracking of any item occurs, not due to misuse or accidental damage, this could be the result of improper annealing causing built in stress in the glass. This is a very specific and identifiable type of damage that can occur long after a piece of glass comes out of the kiln. Though mostly seen in the first day or two, in can happen months later, rarely, in very thick pieces, years later. We take great pains and many long hours to ensure each piece is properly annealed and safe for the customer; it should last forever. We have never had a piece display this problem. However, should this occur within the first year of purcase, we will replace it free of charge.
